Light:
☀️ Full sun. Calamondin thrives in bright, direct sunlight. It requires at least 6-8 hours of sunlight each day to grow well and produce fruit. If grown indoors, place it near a south or west-facing window with ample light.

Water:
💧 Water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry between waterings. Be sure to provide good drainage to prevent root rot. During the growing season (spring and summer), Calamondin will need more frequent watering, but reduce watering in the winter when it is not actively growing.

Soil:
🌱 Well-draining, slightly acidic soil. Calamondin prefers soil that is rich in organic matter and drains well. A good potting mix for citrus trees or a blend of garden soil and perlite is ideal. Ensure the container or garden bed has drainage holes.

Temperature:
🌡️ Prefers temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18°C - 29°C). It can tolerate temperatures as low as 50°F (10°C), but it should be protected from frost. Calamondin is suitable for USDA zones 9-11 and can be grown indoors in cooler climates.

Humidity:
💦 Moderate humidity is ideal. Calamondin prefers a slightly humid environment, especially in dry indoor conditions. If grown indoors, you may want to increase humidity with occasional misting or a humidity tray.

Fertilizer:
🌼 Feed regularly with a balanced citrus fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer) to promote healthy growth and fruit production. Reduce fertilizing in the fall and winter when growth slows down.

Pruning:
✂️ Prune lightly to maintain shape and remove dead or damaged branches. Prune after the fruiting season to encourage new growth. Light pruning can also help the plant grow more compactly, especially if grown indoors.

Fruit:
🍊 Calamondin produces small, sour citrus fruits that are often used in cooking or as flavoring. They typically ripen in the winter, but the tree can produce fruit year-round under ideal conditions.
