Light:
☀️ Full sun to partial shade. Thrives in bright light and produces the most vibrant flowers and foliage in full sun. Can tolerate some shade but may grow more slowly.

Water:
💧 Water regularly, especially during dry spells. Allow the top layer of soil to dry between waterings. Once established, it’s relatively drought-tolerant.

Soil:
🌱 Well-draining soil. Prefers loamy or sandy soil enriched with organic matter. Avoid waterlogged conditions.

Temperature:
🌡️ Warm weather plant, ideal in USDA zones 9–11. It prefers temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18°C – 29°C) and does not tolerate frost.

Humidity:
💦 Moderate to high humidity preferred. Tolerates coastal conditions well.

Fertilizer:
🌼 Apply a balanced fertilizer monthly during the growing season (spring through fall) to encourage blooming and vibrant variegated leaves.

Pruning:
✂️ Trim regularly to control spreading and shape the plant. Deadheading old flowers can encourage new blooms. Works great as edging or a colorful groundcover.

🌸 Produces trumpet-shaped purple-lavender blooms throughout the warm season. The variegated foliage adds extra visual interest.
