DESERT ROSE
Light: ☀️ Thrives in full sun. It needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day to bloom and stay healthy.
Water: 💧 Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Let it dry out between waterings — it’s drought-tolerant and prefers being on the dry side.
Soil: 🌱 Prefers well-draining, sandy or cactus mix soil. Avoid heavy, clayey soil that retains water for too long.
Temperature: 🌡️ Enjoys warm temperatures between 70–95°F (21–35°C). It is sensitive to cold and should be kept away from temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
Humidity: 💦 Tolerates dry air, making it a perfect plant for arid environments or indoor spaces with low humidity.
Fertilizer: 🌼 Feed with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer every 6–8 weeks during the growing season (spring through summer). Avoid fertilizing in winter when the plant is dormant.
Pruning: ✂️ Prune after the blooming period to remove dead flowers and any unwanted growth. You can also trim the plant to shape it, but don’t cut back too much.
Growth Habit: 🌿 A small, succulent shrub with thick, swollen stems and vibrant flowers in shades of pink, red, or white. It’s a slow-grower and typically reaches around 3–6 feet tall, making it great for pots or small garden spaces.
